Itinerary overview
The tournament will begin in Sydney, Australia’s Harbour city, with a welcome function on Monday 11th March 2024.
Golf will commence by playing three rounds over four days. The team with the highest cumulative bestball points over the three rounds will win the Sydney component of the tournament.
Week two of the schedule will see us journey to Melbourne and it’s iconic Sandbelt courses. The second leg of your golfing experience will commence on Monday 18th March. The team with the highest cumulative bestball points over the three rounds will win the Melbourne component of the tournament. And the team with the highest cumulative bestball points over the entire tournament will win the Great Soutern Classic Invitational.
The tournament will conclude with a final round and presentation dinner at Kingston Heath Golf Club.
Format and Prizes
Each group will compete in a team of two, playing a bestball format, and utilizing the stableford scoring system. Handicaps will be updated after each round.
The team with the highest cumulative bestball points over the three rounds at each city – Sydney and Melbourne – will be awarded a prize for finishing on top after each section of the tournament.
A final overall winner will be announced at the closing event.
Additionally, daily prizes will be on the table for each of the rounds played.
